The first thing to do is target non competitive keywords. A lot of simple one word keywords are simply saturated in the market. If you want to get a good page rank and get to the top of the search engine page results then it is best to target several words together or long tailed keywords.

Do some research using the Google keyword tool. Once you have found some non competitive keywords then you need to start building your backlinks. The best way to do this for free is one by one. Yes, it will take quite a bit of time, but if you build quality backlinks instead of poor quality ones, then your efforts will be worth it.

One simple way of building backlinks is to comment on people’s blogs. This is quite easy to do. Simply find the blogs that are in your niche and the spend the time to read through them and post a relevant comment. Don’t forget to add a link to your comment back to your site.

Another way to create a backlink is to participate in a forum in your niche and have a signature that links back to your site. This will create many backlinks when you post threads.

These are just a couple of ways to improve increase your rankings. You need to increase your rankings to improve your traffic. There is only really one way of getting website traffic for free that works. The majority of other ways just waste your time and are really ineffective for driving lots of good quality traffic.

Be an Expert - Use Social Content Sharing to Add Value

The most important element of social content sharing is to add value with your Squidoo lenses or Hub pages. Each article should leave the reader feeling like they have gained something from the information you have shared. Articles that are pure fluff and do not add anything to the reader will not attract traffic.

Make it Exciting - Add Other Social Content Sharing Modules

Squidoo and Hub Pages both allow you to add other elements such as YouTube videos, Amazon books, graphics and other elements to your content and you should make use of these.

Use Keyword Optimization

As with all web pages and articles your Squidoo lenses and Hub pages should obey the rules of good keyword optimization. Find keywords that people are searching for and where you are not facing much competition and then use these to optimize your content pages.

Encourage User Interaction

Social media websites are all about user interaction and when publishing your articles on social content sharing websites you should bear this in mind. Use polls, comments and other devices to help encourage users to interact on your lenses and pages.

Social content sharing is becoming a popular way to drive traffic to your website and make money online. In order to do so you will want to ensure that you provide valuable content and that you make your lenses and Hub Pages exciting for your visitors with other modules and devices that encourage user participation. In order to get more traffic from the search engines to your lenses and Hub pages you should also use keyword optimization.

What if your websites could earn money in the same way that TV and radio stations do? Without Pay Per Click.com gives you the amazing opportunity to actually place audio advertisements on your website! Now you can earn loads of money off your website and all your visitors have to do is just show up.

Your visitors never have to click on a thing. All they have to do is hear a 5 second audio ad and you get paid. Your visitors will remain your visitors, as they never have to click a text link to leave your website. This means that you keep making sales, delivering content, or providing whatever service that your website is made for.

As you may know, major television networks are in trouble because their advertising revenue is dropping. They are losing market share at a dramatic pace because big brand advertisers are moving over to the ‘Net. Advertisers like Harley Davidson, HBO & Taco Bell are willing to pay you on 100% of your website traffic to make up for the loss of viewers that the big TV networks are experiencing.
